Héroes de la Conservación won an "Honorable Mention", having been previously selected to compete in the "Stories of Hope - Long Form" category of this edition of the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase, organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), Jackson Wild, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The Film Showcase is one of the global events that will accompany the United Nations World Wildlife Day celebrations on March 3 and will help illustrate its theme: Keystone Species Recovery for Ecosystem Restoration.
All finalist audiovisual projects are now available for viewing and will be screened free of charge on the Film Showcase platform for a few days.
